Baby #2 Heartbeat
Nothing more exciting then hearing the heartbeat of your baby to be. Andrea is just over half way there as we anticipate the arrival of Asher's sister or brother around the due date of April 14, 2012.

Asher's first Halloween costume
Asher and Dad hit the mall in the afternoon to see all the other kids dressed up. One word about going to the mall on Halloween: CrAzY!
Mom enjoyed handing out treats to the neighborhood kids. First time for us now that we are home owners.
Then Dad took Asher for his first Trick 'or Treat experience. Really is was Dad's chance to meet some of the neighbors, catch a few names and introduce our family. We have a friendly neighborhood and are so happy with where God has placed us in Old Glenmore - Kelowna.

Summer Recap
Well, my folks have been pretty busy with the new house renovations. So I thought I would take some time to recap my summer.
Spent a lot of time at the beach this summer. It tastes alright.
I got to take Papa's boat out for a spin. It takes sharp corners nice. I think I'll be driving it again in summers to come.
The best thing about living on Rosemead Avenue was the sushi. Dada would make the call and we'd walk over together and pick it up. I have to admit I like the chop sticks more than the sushi.
Our trip to Manitoba was great. My friends Mischa and Lev have the greatest swing set. Looking forward to meeting their new sister next summer.
Granny and I had some great cuddle times.
My cousins weren't at my Aunty's wedding at Christmas, so when she did the legal wedding this summer I got to hang with them all weekend. Each one of them took time to play with me. I think we'll have to invite them out to Kelowna soon and have them play at my new house. And I hope Aunty Tara comes soon too.
The best part of our trip to Manitoba was being able to meet my Great Grandma.
Here's four generations of Perreaux's together.
When we got home I decided it was time to start feeding myself.
And I discovered I love corn on the cob. Nothing like fresh corn!
And I can't forget my fun times our family here in Kelowna. Uncle Shawn is one crazy dancer. Hoodies forever buddy!
Some of my favorites times have been crawling up into Mama's lap and crashing after some serious playtime.

Tearing Down the Wall
Day 2 of our house renovation. Here we're tearing down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. Special thanks to Pastor Jack and Pam who came to help for the day. Jack and I finished tearing out the cabinets in the kitchen and then took down the wall. Pam was kind enough to tackle the wall paper in my future office.

Asher's First Fall
Asher had his first major fall yesterday. Hit the pebbled driveway. Blood poured everywhere. Andrea almost passed out. No stitches, but he'll have his first manly scar.

Cousin Jaclyn & Kris Visit
My cousin Jaclyn and her husband Kris came through Kelowna and crashed the night with us. We love catching up with their lives as master herbalist and rally car racing duo.
Asher helped clean up after they left.
We rewarded him with a fruit smoothie.
Delicious!

Planting the Herb Garden
Andrea got working on the herb garden last weekend. Asher wanted to help so badly. He would love to grab a handful of that delicious dirt or those tasty green leaves.

ASHER WALKS
About a two weeks ago Asher was really cruising around the house upright - making his way along the walls. Then last Sunday he decided that was the day he would start walking. He was sitting on the floor in the living room when suddenly he stood up, poised there for a while, and then took a few steps. All week we've been enjoying seeing him get around the house. Looks like we now have a toddler!
